Dr. Melissa Miskell, executive and Medical Director
Dr. Melissa Miskell is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist and joined PINCC in 2006 Dr. Miskell began working to eradicate cervical cancer after attending several medical mission trips to Central America in the early 2000’s.
Dr. Miskell graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry, a Bachelor of Science in Zoology and a Master of Science. She later graduated from the University of North Texas Health Sciences Center and she completed her residency at Texas Tech University Health Science Center as Chief Resident.

Morgan Newport has been involved with PINCC since 2022, first as a volunteer and now as Program Director, where she supports the planning and implementation of cervical cancer prevention programs and global partnerships.
She holds dual Master’s degrees in Public Health and Latin American Studies from San Diego State University. Her graduate research focused on reproductive health access in the U.S.–Mexico border region and the factors that influence healthcare access for underserved communities.
Morgan's professional background spans public health, research, advocacy, and community engagement. She has worked with organizations including EMILY’s List, People’s Action, and the State Innovation Exchange, supporting efforts to advance health equity, reproductive rights, and social justice through policy and grassroots organizing. She also served as a National Park Service ranger in Yosemite, Sequoia & Kings Canyon, and Joshua Tree National Parks.
Through her work with PINCC, Morgan is committed to expanding access to lifesaving cervical cancer screening and treatment and advancing health equity for women around the world.

Jean is a board certified obstetrician gynecologist who retired from full time practice in 2023. She has had a long interest in public health and especially enjoys providing care to women in low resource settings both in the US and abroad. She began volunteering with PINCC in 2013 because the organization shared her goals of education and clinical training of local health care providers to create sustainable, evidence based programs to prevent the devastating disease of cervical cancer.
Jean received a undergraduate degree in biology from Oberlin College and attended medical school at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. Over the years, she has practiced in California, Massachusetts, Maryland and Virginia. She now lives on Cape Cod in Massachusetts with her husband, Eric.

Dr. Michele Bunker-Alberts is an Assistant Professor and chair of a Family Nurse Practitioner Program. As a primary care and women’s specialist clinician in the US public health system for over 20 years, she has helped develop pap screening, colposcopy, cryotherapy, and LEEP programs as well as clinic-based pediatric nutrition interventions and care for unsheltered patients. She has also provided primary care and cervical cancer prevention in Mexico, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Ethiopia, Peru, Jamaica and Guatemala and is committed to continuing that work. She has served in leadership with several organizations including PINCC and remains committed to increasing access to health care and lactation care in both traditional and non-traditional settings. She lives with her two mastiffs in her non-traditional “Oakland Anna Madrigal” household with her train-conducting partner and helps to support her children in Oakland, Louisiana and Santa Ana to be all that they can be.
Michele earned her BA at San Francisco State University in Political Science/Public Policy in 1991, her BSN at Samuel Merritt in 1997, her MSN/FNP at U.C. San Francisco in 2004, and her Doctor of Nursing Practice at Western University Health Sciences Pomona in 2015. She has been an RN since 1997, Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner since 2004, and Internationally Board-Certified Lactation Consultant since 2000.

Davis’ service to PINCC is based in his firm belief that traveling and volunteering hones your foundation for personal growth and multicultural understanding. Davis believes that women are the motor that keeps the world moving forward, and is dedicated to ensuring that PINCC remains a leader in sustainable female disease prevention.

Zac handles all things business. He ensures that PINCC thrives to spread its mission to end cervical cancer. Zac pursued his MBA from IE Business School in Madrid where he met reliable friends and contacts in dozens of countries — many of whom support PINCC in various capacities. Zac joined PINCC in 2017 to satisfy his passion for serving those in need.

Monica was born in Kenya and holds a Bachelors in Communication Studies, a nursing degree, and masters in nursing. Monica is a board-certified nurse practitioner and family nurse practitioner as well. Her knowledge of women's medicine and passion to leave the world better than we found it is an invaluable asset for PINCC. Monica joined the PINCC team in 2008 and has since impacted thousands of women’s lives for the better.

Sarah Morgan Carpenter is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist, academic generalist, and Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at Indiana University. Alongside her full-time clinical practice, she is completing a Doctorate in Public Health (DrPH) in Global Health Leadership at Indiana University, Indianapolis.
Sarah’s career is dedicated to delivering excellent, evidence-based care to diverse patient populations, with a particular focus on lower-resource settings. Her clinical and research interests include: Cervical cancer prevention and patient-centered management of cervical dysplasia, Evidence-based management of labor to improve maternal and neonatal safety, Global health programs and International collaboration. She first volunteered with PINCC in 2025 because of PINCC's focus on sustainable programs collaborating with in-country partners.
Sarah received a BA in biology/psychology from Rhodes College and an MD from Medical College of Ohio. She completed her residency in OB/GYN at Indiana University. Sarah has practiced medicine in Indiana since completing her residency. She is an avid global traveler who integrates her love for travel with medical missions, education, and language learning. She resides in Indiana with her husband and their two dogs.

Daisy is a Certified Nurse Midwife based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, whose journey with PINCC began nearly 10 years ago while searching for sustainable volunteer opportunities in Women’s Health. She spent 2 years as a Midwife in Haiti expanding their nursing curriculum along with improving maternal mortality. Her passion for improving health and expanding access for women worldwide aligns perfectly with PINCC’s mission. We’re excited to have Daisy bring her dedication and expertise to our Board of Directors!

Catherine has worn many hats within PINCC over the past seven years and now proudly serves on our Board of Directors. She is a third-year student at St. Mary’s University School of Law and the National Media Director for Circuit of the Americas. She has traveled extensively working with and filming endangered wildlife and produced Beyond Rusinga, PINCC’s documentary, capturing the heart of our work. Residing in New Braunfels, Texas, Catherine continues to champion PINCC's impact with passion and dedication.

Dr Kimberley Ivory is an Australian medical practitioner. Originally, a GP (family physician), she has enjoyed a portfolio career including medical journalism, sexual and reproductive health, as Senior Medical Officer for Family Planning Victoria, and public health education.
Her academic role at the University of Sydney School of Public Health involved developing the public health curriculum for the medical program, teaching medical students the importance of cultural sensitivity in healthcare, and researching the impacts of bullying and harrassment in medical education using theatrical techniques.
Before volunteering for PINCC, Kimberley was an Australian Volunteer for International Development in Mongolia in 2017, working as health advisor to the LGBT Centre, Mongolia, a human rights NGO. There, she helped the NGO co-ordinate the first Health and Human Rights Conference in Mongolia in 2018.
Kimberley retired from clinical practice in 2023. She lives in Orange, NSW with her partner, Brooke, and spends her time making kiln formed glass and walking their border collie, Daisy.
Always passionate about preventative health and women's empowerment, she is delighted to have been able to join PINCC on it's mission to provide the skills and training to impacted communities to eliminate cervical cancer globally.

Jenna is a technology executive who leads global customer success teams for international tech firms, currently as Senior Director of Customer Success at Contentsquare based in London, UK. Over fifteen years she has built and scaled customer-facing teams across the US, Europe, Latin America and Asia. Her involvement with PINCC began over a decade ago through Dining for Women where she was San Francisco chapter leader, and she has since volunteered on two trips to Nicaragua and El Salvador as a Spanish medical translator, health educator, and clinic operations volunteer, alongside years of fundraising and giving. She brings a global perspective, partnership-building experience and a long-standing commitment to closing the gap in women's healthcare access.
“Cervical cancer is a completely preventable disease, but it is the leading cause of cancer deaths among women ages 20 to 60 in underdeveloped countries. The women in these areas have no routine screening. We are teaching healthcare providers simple protocols that can save these women’s lives.”
